If I am going to post 81 cards for the rest of this year. I can not just copy idea from other. Today, I decided to take changelle from Just Add Ink. I came up with this car. In the begin I just stamp three birds on the cards and "on your first communiion". When I show to my son, he said Mom you need make something better than this. do something better, do smething better. It sounds so fimiliam. Isn't that I told him all the time when he show me his work? Well, I took his advice and redo the card. I add old olive stackcard to make more eye catch then use stamp from Message for Mom set and happy birthday from Tiny Tiny Wishes. It did aprove. If you are a new stamper like me. Keep trying. It will get better and better. Isn't we always tell children "Practice make perfect". Good Luck and God bless your day.

Church had a woman retreat coming up. They need some craft sample for this event. Their theme is about flower. I came up with this flower idea with verse. I used to use dried flower combine with Verse. Since dried flower is very fragile to handle. With 40 women have to finish in 40 min. I don't think so it is possible. So I use stamp from Vintage Vogue set. I try use 3D flower I learn a week ago but it doesn't fit in the picture because the glass will smash the flower. (May be you can use display box to do so). Compare with dried flower this is a little dull but I think it still very pretty and is easy to instruct 40 women to finish in 40 min. Hope committee will like this project. I also make two other different projects for this event. I didn't post it out because I direct copy from other. When I find out who I copy from I might post on with their name so they will get credit for it. Thank you for stopping by.

Christmas card in...July?

When I clean out all the drawers to make room for my new stamps. I found this lillte tree punch that my sister gave me a long time ago (She is the one who introduced me to this hobby). So I made this simple Christmas card in July. The whole card is very simple and plain. But after I add a Design Brad, it lights up the whole card.

I got this idea from weeinklings.blogspot the green apple. Since I don't have the apple punch so I decide to use 1" cicle punch. play with different DP to come up with this birthday card.

First Post Ever! :)

Two days ago, my son and I were discussing the movie Julie and Julia. This gave me the idea to set up this blog. I have a goal to post at least 3 cards a week. In the same way that Julia went through recipes in the movie, I will try to maintain this goal of 3 cards a week for at least 6 months. That's 81 cards in total.
My kids were excited to help me set up this blog, and I am excited to see my cards being uploaded onto my blog. I hope someone enjoys my blog and becomes inspired by my creations in the same way that I have been inspired by other creators.

I've been making so many cards but I've chosen to post this card up first. I made this a couple months ago. The design was found online, but it was so cute that I decided to try it out myself.
